Blackburn-Gay Named to Counselor’s Academy 07/29/2006 Denise Blackburn-Gay, APR, President of Marketing Strategies Inc. has been named to the Counselor’s Academy of the Public Relations Society of America.   The Counselor’s Academy, the Public Relations Society’s oldest professional interest group, was founded over 40 years ago, and today represents more than 600 of the nation’s top Senior PR leaders.   Blackburn-Gay has been an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America for more than 20 years and is active at both the national and state levels.
