Local Agency to Provide In Kind Services for Annual Arts Events

Myrtle Beach, SC- Marketing Strategies, Inc. has been selected to provide public relations services for the 20th Annual Pawley’s Island Festival of Music & Art as well as the Pawley’s Island Wine Festival, slated for September. The Agency will work closely with Strand Media Group, the Festival’s managing company, to coordinate all promotional efforts along the Grand Strand and additional South Carolina markets including Greenville, Florence, Charleston and Columbia.

According to the Festival’s Executive Director, Delores Blount, “Marketing Strategies, Inc. has served as the event’s PR firm for three consecutive years, and understands its importance to the arts as well as its impact on the local economy.  We feel that the expertise and experience they bring to the table is a great benefit.”

Throughout its existence, the Pawley’s Island Festival of Music and Arts has continued to grow both in the quality of performers it attracts and the number of visitors it brings to the area. It has long been recognized as the premier arts event for Horry and Georgetown counties.
