We offer two types of internships: Full-Time Summer (10 weeks beginning in late/May early June) and Part-Time During the Fall and Winter/Spring Semesters.
Interns work on a variety of activities. Summer interns have an advantage by participating in weekly meetings where they learn more about each of the practice groups within Marketing Strategies, Inc and about the industry in general.
Some of the activities that interns are involved with may include:
- Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and other relevant communications vehicles for clients
- Evaluating and analyzing information and data, including developing succinct, accurate summaries of research
- Drafting media alerts, pitch letters, press releases and marketing materials
- Developing media lists and other reports (e.g., competitor, consumer, legislative or interest group analyses)
- Targeting and developing relationships with the press and the investment community
- Coordinating meetings and events, including press conferences, analyst meetings, annual meetings and special events
